ILLNESS PREVENTION

Just an important message to send out to all. As you know the sick and flu bugs are flying around at the moment, particularly as groups of people come back together after Christmas at training and at school, this can be when the germs spread the most.

Take a look at the list below it shows how many days are left until your target competitions:

British Champs - 67 days
Counties - 75 days
Midland Youth - 122 days
Midland Age Groups - 157 days
Senior Nationals - 136 days
European Juniors - 189 days
National Age Groups - 191 days
World Championships - 204 days
European Youth Olympic Festival - 205 days
National Youths - 207 days
Tri Nations - 210 days

All of you will be aiming to be in peak physical and mental condition for one or more of these competitions and they are what are all the hard training is for...so please take care...

Please remember the advice that was given to you and your parents last winter with regards to preventing illness and injurys,

Key points are wrapping up warm, eating immediatley after training, NOT sharing drinks bottles, washing hands regularly, etc.

We gave out some information sheets on how to prevent and deal with illnesses last season...If you havent had one please speak to the coaching staff.
