Tenerife Top Training Facilities

Derventio eXcel Swim Squad - Derbyshire's elite swim squad - What a team! What a training camp!

DX have spent the last week at T3 Tenerife Top Training in their training and preparation camp. This week was amazing, with excellent team bonding, training and activites and great weather. The staff and facilities at T3 and the hotel are second to none. T3 boasts a 10 lane 50m swimming pool, a 6 lane 25m pool, flume tank, gym, football pitches, basketball courts, squash courts, etc. The swimmers were also given a towel and 1.5 litres of water a day. A mix of swim teams were there from all different places, and the chance for us to find out how the others work. The staff at the complex could not be more helpful and went out of their way to provide an excellent service. As did the hotel staff at the Jardin Caleta. All staff here were very helpful in answering questions and accomodating us. The hotel was spacious and although used as a holiday hotel had all the amenities swimmers could need, including self catering in the rooms and excellent meals at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food choice was varied and included a lot of healthy options. The entertainment at night also catered for the swimmers with the Eagle and Snake show providing good fun, along with plenty of pool matches and a conference room for us to hold our quizzes. Great Atmosphere, Great Facilities, Great People, would definatley be looking to go again in the future.
