The mornings heats sees 3 DX swimmers through to the semi-finals tonight.
James Lovatt in the 100m Backstroke after a seasons best time of 57.99 in the heats lies in 16th place but will be looking to drop into the 56's to secure a lane in the final.
Jodie Hawksworth and Molly Renshaw both qualify in the 100m Breaststroke with times of 1:12.77 and 1:13.19. Jodie's split time of 33.93 is a new Club and County Record for 50m Breaststroke, whilst Molly's was a new PB. With 6 Juniors making through to the semi-finals, both will need to step-up tonight to give themselves a chance of selection to the European Junior Championships in this event.
Zichen Liu finished 18th (2nd reserve) in the 100m Backstroke with a disappointing time of 58.30, after showing great early season form consistently swimming 57's whilst in heavy training. He'll now turn to his favoured 200m Backstroke on Wednesday to turn things around.
