Molly Renshaw - British Record !!!

The talk of poolside tonight was Molly Renshaw with her "world class swim" of 2:30.45 in the 200m Breaststroke final - breaking the British Age Group Record by almost half a second.

Molly claimed her first ever National medal, at the toughest of all domestic competitions and against 5 existing international swimmers, winning the Silver medal and the plaudits of many coaches and media representatives at the Manchester Aquatics Centre.

This swim places Molly 17th in the current World Rankings and is a well deserved result after a totally committed approach to the Derventio training programme.

Congratulations Molly - you've made us all very proud!
