First up at the meet was Amy Neild (DXDS and Belper) in the 800m Freestyle. Amy repeated the time she did only 2 weeks ago at the Long Eaton Open Meet, and it is great to see swimmers trying new and varied events at the development stage well done Amy. Amy's consistent skills particularly off the walls saw her swim a very consistent race.
Next up was DX's Francesca Muir-Harris who led the race from a great start took the race on and with great range of stroke throughout swam a 25 second, (Yes I said 25 seconds) personal best time of 9.27.87. Swimming a personal best time at 400m also. Francesca will now look forward to the rest of the meet and to swimming 800m Long Course in December.
FAST swimming from DX...GREAT START GIRLS...Keep it up!
