DX Girls Club Captain Hannah Jones was up first this morning in the 200m Butterfly, Hannah cruised through to qualify for the Junior Final later today.
The DX Breaststroke girls were also out in force this morning with 5 swimmers competing.
Imogen Clark posted the personal best in the morning in a time of 1.13.67 to qualify for tonights Junior Final. This was following on from smashing her personal best time in the heats of the 50m Freestyle also.
Abbie Wood just outside her best time also qualified for the Junior Final later this evening and will look to go faster tonight.
Sarah Vasey in her first event of the championships, Jodie Hawksworth and Molly Renshaw were all just outside their best times this morning.
On his third day of competition Kevin Wallbank swam the 200m Breaststroke but was again just outside his best time.
Lewis White also competed in the MC 200m I.M. The current S9 National Junior Short Course champion used this opportunity to gain invaluable long course experience, racing on the bigger stage and against great competitiors of all ages including current Paralympians. Lewis missed his personal best time, but the experience has allowed him to gain confidence ready for the British International Disability Open in April.
