SOCIAL NETWORKING SITES

Owing to the increasing use of social networking sites, the DX Committee have decided to offer the following initial guidance to swimmers and parents.Swimmers under the age of 16 should not request that their coaches/teachers/helpers are added as ‘friends’. Coaches/teachers/helpers are advised to deny any such requests that are made. Swimmers and parents are also reminded that Facebook policy states that those under 13 should not register.
