Several DX Youth swimmers attended the City of Sheffield Open Meet over the weekend with their aim, to qualify for the National Championships in August.
Hannah Sullivan and Ryan Lovatt were the stars of the team, by gaining their first ever National times in the 50m Freestyle (28.3) and 200m Backstroke (2:16).
Jodie Hawksworth was the third DX swimmer making the National mark with a 4 sec PB in the 400m IM.
Scott Tovell-Coleman set a new club record of 16:38 in the 1500m Freestyle.
Gina Tovell-Coleman, looking to add to her 400m Frs NQT, narrowly missed both the 100m and 200m Backstroke by o.2 and 0.4 secs respectively.
Tom Matthews is coming back into form at just the right time and with a 1:01.8 in the 100m Fly, needs to drop just 0.07 to reach his first NQT of the season.
