In the morning some of the swimmers got to stay in bed as their preparation continues for British Champs. The 11 of us that went to training had a BEAST freestyle set! But we all got ready really quickly after training and sprinted back to the hotel for Breakfast. It was difficult for Eve yet again her sponge got stuck and she had to keep it on.
We all had to stay in our own rooms again to rest after. In the afternoon session the group who didnt go in the flume were in today, they are giving us dvds to take home with us. We thought we were going to drown, but the feedback from the video was beneficial.
After training we had a Treasure Hunt with questions for clues to get answers, and the winners will win a whopping 20 points for their team. After searching at the T3 campus and on the way back to the hotel we were then given another list of questions and a shopping list with items we had to bring back. The list included: a feather, an ice cube (which Eve got at the beginning of the search - and had melted by the time she had got back, doh!), a reading book, a picture of a foreign team swim hat, a sun hat, a red item of clothing, a do not disturb sign (which had Zichen running around knocking on random doors asking if he could borrow one, luckily the gentleman was laughing). Zichen also found an answer to a very hard question, but spoiled it by running from it saying "Ive got it, ive got it" which led to a mass of swimmers running over and getting the answer!
In the end Zichen's team (The A Team) won the treasure hunt and the points go towards the final scores.
At dinner there was a BBQ Yum! Then we had a team meeting and practiced for our talent show which is called "DX Factor" tomorrow night.
The facilities are amazing at T3 10 lane 50m pool, 6 lane 25m pool, gym, flume, squash, football and tennis courts, physiotherapy and the weather has been brilliant 25 degrees today.
Its all very exciting over here in Tenerife.
