Harry Webster selected for Great Britain!




Harry Webster has been selected to swim for Great Britain at the European Youth Olympic Festival in Turkey in July.





Harry is a member of a select group of swimmers 8 girls and 8 boys who will be joining the athletes from other sports to compete at this Olympic style competition.



Harry 16 years old, who trains full time with Derventio eXcel will compete in the multi-sport event experiencing all aspects of a top international competition.



Harry is the 4th Derventio eXcel swimmer to compete for Great Britain this year!



Harry is following in the footsteps of Chris Steeples who was first selected for Great Britain in March 2010 for the European Junior Championships then went onto compete for Great Britain twice in the 2010-2011 season both at Junior and Senior level.






Harry who has been selected based on his performances at the British Championships in March 2011 will join Molly Renshaw and Jodie Hawksworth in swimming for their country. Molly and Jodie have been selected to compete for Great Britain at the European Junior Championships in July and Jodie in the World Junior Championships in August.
