Jodie Hawksworth pictured above lowered her personal best even more to finish 9th, narrowly missing out on the final by 0.02 of a second in a time of 32.79Coming into the meet Jodie's pb was 33.90 and she was ranked 26th, she progressed through the heats in a time of 33.02 ranked 13th and went onto another personal best (32.79) finishing 9th overall.
Well Done Jodie!
GB won 2 medals today in the girls 800m Free (Bronze) and the 400m IM (Gold). This leaves GB 2nd in the medal table behind Italy.
Molly and Jodie both compete tomorrow in the 200m Breaststroke!
