Molly Renshaw European Junior Champion!

Derventio eXcel's Molly Renshaw is European Junior Champion!

Molly won Gold in the 200m Breaststroke in a new British and English Record!  Molly who won her first International medal at last years European Juniors taking the bronze in 2011 was out for the victoy this time and did so in style!

Andi Manley Derventio eXcel Head Coach and GB Coach said:

""it was a very proud moment to hear the national anthem with Molly on top of the podium. To become European Junior Champion is a huge achievement and something that I'm sure she will treasure for the rest of her swimming career. This result is even more special considering the disappointments of the last 2 weeks in not being selected for the Olympic team. Molly has shown immense strength of character and mental toughness to bounce back in this way and i have no doubt she will go on from here to become an even greater senior international swimmer in the coming years."
