Booth breaks High School records in the US!

Josh Booth has started the 2012-2013 season as he means to continue by smashing High School records left, right and centre!

Josh who at the start of the 2012-2013 season has made the move out to go to school and train in the USA has started the season competing in High School Meets for his new School Bolles.  Josh is a Derbyshire area born lad and is a member of Derventio eXcel.  Josh trains with Dervnetio when he is back home and competes for Derventio in key Home Country meets.  Josh will be heading back for Christmas and will look forward to continuing his training here, and then we look forward to welcoming him back in April to swim with us at the British Championships.

In these intense and tough Short Course Yard meets, Josh has stood up to the challenge and used his excellent Underwater skills in the yard pool to great effect.  In doing so Josh has been a member of the school relay teams that have posted best High School times.

At the beginning of October Josh competed at the Flordia Swimming Pool Association High School Invitational Meet in Orlando and swam a 20.03 freestyle leg in the 200 yard Free Relay to break the exiting record.  In the 400 yard Free Relay Booth posted a time of 45.58 to again help the team to a new record.

http://swimswam.com/2012/10/bolles-boys-off-to-hot-start-with-two-national-age-group-records-already/

Just over a month later and Josh was again in record breaking form at the Florida State High School Swimming and Diving Championships.  Swimming again with his Bolles teammates they broke the 200 yard medley, 200 yard free with Josh posting times of 21.81 (fly), 44.67 respectivley.
