Chris Steeples nominated for AASE Aquatic Athlete of the Year!

Chris Steeples has been nominated for the Advanced Apprenticeship in Sporting Excellence Aquatic Athlete of the year.

Chris who was selected as an AASE athlete in 2008 has been nominated for his great successes in the pool over the last 12 months. Chris was selected onto his first Great Britain team from the British Championships in March 2010. He then went onto the European Junior Championships in Helsinki, Finland where he was the top British Breaststroker. He then came home and won Gold and Bronze medals at the British Gas National Youth Championships. He then was selected onto the GB team that swam at the Portland International Junior Championships where he won Silver and Bronze medals in the Breaststroke events. He also recieved his call up for his Debut Senior International which will take place in February in Germany in the Duel in the pool GB vs Germany. He will then go onto the World Championship trials in March.
