It's been another tough session of racing this afternoon.
"Whilst some of the times have been slower than we hoped for the swimmers have shown toughness in racing and good application of skill throughout. Most of the team have understood that its not always about the time on the scoreboard but sometimes about the process of developing as an athlete" said Andi Manley. Mark Tanner added "It's been great to see the whole of DX come together for their first level 1 meet since the introduction of the hub squads"
Medals so far in this session have been won by:-
Abbie Wood silver12 years 100 IM gold 200 Breast
Hannah Jones silver 14 years 100 IM
Dylan Tomkinson gold 13 years 100 Breast
Oli Davidson bronze 13 years 50 Back
Imogen Clark gold 12 years 50 Breast bronze 200 Breast

It's just been confirmed that Hannah Jones is totally crazy, she's decided to swim Fly in the 400 Freestyle, last event of the day!!! That's not strictly true, word has it that Mr. Manley instigated it. "Jonesy" drove it all the way home in a time of 5.03.65
More later folks!
