Lewis White swam in 2 finals on the first evening of competition at the British International Disability Championships.
Lewis swam in the 100m Free Youth final as the youngest competitor racing against swimmers 2 years his senior. Lewis improved on his big personal best he set in the heats to swim another personal best time by a second!!
Later on in the session he competed in the 100m Backstroke again improving on his best time set in the morning by another second.
Lewis also improved his rankings from the heats by 1 place in each.
Stepping up in finals, improving your times and positions is an important part to higher level swimming and this experience is invaluable for Lewis.
