Midland Distance Time Trials

DX Swimmers were today 'PB machines' at Loughborough University setting 6 new PB's from 5 swims at the Midland Distance Time Trial event.

Scott, having qualified for Nationals back in December, was looking to gain more long course race practice in his best event, the 1500m Freestyle and stormed to a club record time of 16:38.63.

4 other DX swimmers were all looking to hit their first national mark of the season and all took one step closer to making that happen.

Gina came closest swimming an even paced 9:29 in the 800m Freestyle (4:44/4:45) to finish just 1 sec shy of the NQT.

Rosie improved her time from Midlands last week by a whopping 19 seconds to now need a drop of 11 secs more in the next 8 weeks to reach her first National Championships.

Ben swam 2 PB's in the 1500m Freestyle with a finish time of 17:19 (NQT 17:14) and an 800m split of 9:10 (NQT 9:03).

Kevin, in the 800m Freestyle, equalled his team-mates time with a 9:10 and both will now look to drop just 7 more seconds at the Midland Age Group Championships in June.

WELL DONE TO ALL FIVE OF YOU !!!
