IMOGEN CLARK WINS SILVER MEDAL AT NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS!

Derventio eXcel's Imogen Clark won a SILVER medal at the National Championships in Sheffield.


Imogen blasted the heats qualifying in her first National Championships for the final in a 3.1 second personal best time of 1.13.93 in the 100m Breaststroke.  Imi went out strong and did a personal best time at the 50m
34.38.


Well Done Imi!


Abbie Wood also swam in tonights 100m Breaststroke final going out fast from the gun and finished in 4th in a closely fought race.


Also in action today was EllĂ© Pryce who swam a 1.3 second personal best time of 1.10.74 in the 100m Backstroke to move up the rankings 12 places to finish in 13th place.


Kathryn Roworth was agonisingly 0.02 off her personal best time in the 100m Backstroke, in a strong and skillfull race.
