DX Swimmers off to Great Start at British International Open Championships!

5 DX swimmers were in action this morning at the first ever British International Open Championships.  This year the competition is held in Leeds and has a mixture of International and British Stars, Olympic Champions past and present and the rising stars of Britians future.

First up in the water was James Latham swimming the 50m Breaststroke.  James blasted his personal best time of 30.46 to qualify for tonights Junior final!

Next up was Danny Anderson, swimming in his first British Championships Danny was just down on his best by .30 seconds and will be looking to drop this time in June at the British Championships!

Abbie Wood swam in the heats of the 200m I.M with a great first swim of the meet qualifying for tonights Junior Final in 5th position.

Molly Renshaw followed in the next heat of the 200m I.M, swimming a good first heat swim, only just over half a second off her best ever time.

Last in this morning's heats was Kevin Wallbank in the 100m Fly, Kevin swam to a lifetime best time of 57.15 to qualify in 7th position in tonights final!

Well Done guys and lets get ready for tonights FAST finals!!
